Chicken Paella

Paella is a traditional Spanish dish cooked with rice, assorted vegetables, chicken, white wine, saffron and herbs.

Ingredients of Chicken Paella

  • 4 chicken pieces
  • 4 Tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp paprika powder
  • Chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 cup onions
  • 1 cup bell peppers
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • Saffron a pinch
  • 1 cup peas

    7-8 olives
  • Parsley

How to Make Chicken Paella

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Shallow fry the chicken pieces and add diced onion to it, add bell peppers.
  2. Mix them well. Take out the chicken pieces and vegetables. In the same pan, cook rice and add vegetable stock.
  3. Stir well. Add the bacon, chicken pieces and vegetables back into the pan. Add saffron mixed in white wine to the pan.
  4. Add salt and pepper. Let it cook for some time.
  5. Add green peas, olives and chopped parsley. Drizzle some olive oil on it and serve.
