Khoya is used mainly for making Indian sweets like barfis and gulab jamun.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg full cream milk

    A large kadahi

Method

Bring the milk to boil in the kadahi and then simmer over low heat.

Stir to avoid scorching till the milk thickens and collects together in a solid mass.
