Ingredients of Chilli Meat with Potatoes
- 750 gm meat - cut into 2" cubes 6-8 tbsp ghee 200 gm large sliced green chillies 4 sliced onions 300 ml yoghurt 6 heaped tbsp chopped coriander 3 tbsp shredded ginger 2 tbsp shredded garlic 1 tsp roasted cumin powder salt Potatoes 750 gm peeled, sliced potatoes 1 tbsp butter/ 2 tbsp oil 2 tsp roasted fennel seeds salt and pepper
How to Make Chilli Meat with Potatoes

Combine all the meat ingredients. Place in a heavy pan. Cover tightly and cook over a gentle flame for about 1 hour. For the potato base, arrange potatoes in a heavy, buttered pan. Layer with the butter, fennel seeds and seasoning. Press down. Cover tightly and cook on a slow flame until potatoes cook. Turn off of the pan. Top with the meat. Serve garnished with whipped yoghurt.
