How to Make Vegan Galouti Kebabs
1.
In a food blender, combine the cooked chickpeas and quinoa and ground them into a coarse mix. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.
2.
To this mixture, add spices – salt, garam masala, cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder – along with ginger-garlic paste, finely chopped onions, and green chillies. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
3.
Once done, add chickpea flour to the mixture. Combine all the ingredients well or until the mixture holds its shape.
4.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small round kebabs or patties.
5.
Take a non-stick pan and heat some oil over a medium flame. Once done, carefully place the shaped kebabs over the pan. Make sure not to overcrowd them.
6.
Cook the kebabs for 4-5 minutes on each side. Dab a little oil on and flip them every 2-3 minutes until they are brown and crispy.
7.
Once done, remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb extra oil.
8.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice, and it’s done!
