Love poha but short on time? This microwave poha is just what you need! It's light, flavourful, and ready in minutes. Here's how you can make it for a quick breakfast.

1 cup poha
1 tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp jeera
½ cup onions
½ tsp haldi
Pinch of hing
2-3 green chillies, chopped
6 curry leaves
2 tsp lemon juice
Salt
1 tbsp oil
½ tsp sugar

Rinse the poha well to remove any impurities. Drain thoroughly and transfer it to a sieve to remove excess water. Set aside.

In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin, green chillies, and curry leaves. Stir and microwave for 2 minutes.

Add the chopped onions, turmeric, and asafoetida to the same bowl. Microwave for another 2 minutes or until the onions turn soft and translucent.

Add the poha, salt, and sugar. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring once in between. Drizzle with lemon juice and serve warm.
