10-Minute Moong Dal Halwa Recipe

Ingredients:

½ cup Moong dal flour
2 cups boiled milk
½ cup Ghee
1/3 cup Sugar
¼ tsp cardamom powder
2 tsp chopped pistachios and almonds

1. Prepare Moong Dal Flour

In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee on low flame. Add moong dal flour and roast it while mixing continuously until it turns golden and aromatic.

2. Add Milk

Lower the flame and carefully add boiled milk to the roasted flour in small batches. Keep stirring to avoid any lumps in the mixture.

3. Sweeten The Halwa

Add sugar to the pan and mix well. The halwa will start to thicken as the sugar dissolves. Adjust the sweetness as per your preference.

4. Add Cardamom Powder

To make it fragrant, sprinkle cardamom powder into the halwa. This will also make it flavourful. Mix properly to distribute the flavours evenly.

5. Garnish And Serve

Cook the halwa for a few more minutes. Garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds. This quick and delicious halwa is ready to serve hot!
