In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee on low flame. Add moong dal flour and roast it while mixing continuously until it turns golden and aromatic.

Lower the flame and carefully add boiled milk to the roasted flour in small batches. Keep stirring to avoid any lumps in the mixture.

Add sugar to the pan and mix well. The halwa will start to thicken as the sugar dissolves. Adjust the sweetness as per your preference.

To make it fragrant, sprinkle cardamom powder into the halwa. This will also make it flavourful. Mix properly to distribute the flavours evenly.
