Vinegar is a popular ingredient for washing meat. Its acetic acid content helps reduce the volume and proliferation of bacteria on the surface of various types of meat.

You can also use lemon juice to clean meat. Rub a lemon on the cuts to help make them bacteria-free.

Soak the meat in warm water with a dash of salt and turmeric. Once it's done soaking, rinse the meat with cold water.
