Washing your produce before storing them can lead to rotting and moulding because of the moisture. Wash your produce only before you cook it.

Leafy produce like palak can lose its freshness easily. Store them in a paper towel so it absorbs moisture and prevents it from being soggy.

Herbs like dhaniya, kadi patta and pudina can get soggy easily. Store them in a jar of water to prolong their freshness and then refrigerate.
