Creamy and sweet, Mango Sticky Rice is a popular Thai dessert that is easy to make and loved by all. If you are new to this dish, learn how to make mango sticky rice in five steps.

Rinse one cup of sticky rice (glutinous rice) under cold water until it runs clear. Then soak the rice in water for 4 hours or overnight.

Once the rice has been soaked, transfer it to a pan. Cook the rice in the boiling water for about 25-30 minutes or until it's cooked through.

In a pan, take one cup of coconut milk, ΒΌ cup sugar and a pinch of salt. Heat this mixture over medium heat but don't boil.

Once the rice is cooked, pour the warm coconut sauce over the rice. Let the rice sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavours.

Peel and slice mangoes and top the rice with it. Drizzle some of the remaining coconut sauce over the rice, and garnish it with toasted sesame seeds.
