6 Tips To Make Garlic Butter Chicken

Butter chicken is a classic North Indian dish. But have you tried the garlic butter version? It's even more mouthwatering! Here's a simple recipe for you to try out.

1. Marinate Your Chicken

In a bowl, add boneless chicken chunks, salt, pepper, &  egg. Mix it up well. Then, add the flour (maida) & let it coat the chicken evenly. Keep aside for at least 15 mins.

2. Fry to Perfection

Heat some oil in a kadhai (or frying pan) and fry the marinated chicken until it's golden and crispy on all sides.

3. Prepare The Mix

In another pan, melt some butter & toss in the minced garlic. Stir until the raw garlic smell disappears. Add onions, red chilli flakes, oregano, salt, & pepper, then mix everything together.

4. Make The Slurry

Mix 1 tsp of cornflour with a bowl of water to make a slurry. Pour it into the pan and stir well.

5. Toss The Chicken Chunks

Add the fried chicken to the gravy & give it a good toss. Stir and cook until each piece is coated with that thick, shiny garlic butter goodness.

6. Garnish & Serve

Once the chicken is cooked through, turn off the heat and garnish with some spring onions. Serve it hot and enjoy!
