Modaks are a Maharashtrian favourite, and this version is packed with the rich aroma of kesar (saffron). The combo of coconut, jaggery, and cardamom gives it that perfect sweet flavour.
Think classic modak but with a crispy twist. The filling is the usual sweet mix of coconut and jaggery, but instead of steaming, the outer layer made from rice flour gets fried to golden perfection.
