No matter how well we cook, many times we unconsciously commit these mistakes which make our food unhealthy. Here are 7 mistakes we should avoid to make food healthier. 

1. Excess Seasoning

We love to add seasoning and dressings like soy or mayonnaise to salads and sandwiches. These carry huge amounts of sodium, which may lead to water retention.

Cooking honey can deteriorate its quality. It loses its essential enzymes and nutrients making it poisonous.

3. Overheating Healthy Oils

Healthy oils like olive oil and coconut oil contain nutritional compounds that can be destroyed when heated above their smoke points.

Fried food may taste delicious, but they are simply trans-fat-laden treats. Deep frying turns healthy food like vegetables and meats into unhealthy food.

7. Removing Peels

The skins of potato, carrot, pumpkin and apple are enriched with vitamins that give extra nutrition. The peels also contain fibre, which is great for digestion.
