Losing too much weight can show up certain effects in the body. Here are some of the side effects you may experience after drastic weight loss.

1. Sagging Skin

This happens because the skin is not able to shrink as quickly as the body. Health experts suggest giving enough time to your skin by taking it slow and steady.

 2. Hair Loss

Most fad diets suggest eating fewer calories, which means you may consume fewer essential nutrients. This can cause malnourishment which can lead to hair loss.

3. Impact on Skin Health

Poor nourishment due to fad diets may also lead to break-outs, acne, dull skin, fine lines and other skin health issues.

4. May Cause Constipation

If you are following a certain diet with sudden dietary changes, this may lead to constipation. Add more fibre-rich foods to get your bowels moving.

5. Menstrual Issues

Weight loss may have an effect on women's menstrual cycle. Consult a dietician to lose weight in a healthy way without causing fluctuations in the monthly cycle.
