A pinch of Cardamom Powder
5-6 Almonds
2 tbsp Ghee
2 tbsp Sugar
½ cup Sooji
2 Green Chillies
1 tsp Coriander Leaves
½ cup Kala Chana, boiled
¼ tsp Aamchoor Powder
1 tsp Ghee
½ tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Ginger
Salt as per taste
½ tsp Coriander Powder
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
Oil as required
A pinch of Salt
2 tbsp Sooji
½ cup Atta
Prepare Halwa: Heat ghee in a pan. Add sooji and roast till colour changes.
Add sugar and water. Cook till the sugar dissolves.
Add cardamom powder and almonds. Mix well and turn off the heat. Your halwa is ready!
Prepare Chana: Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and ginger.
Add the boiled chana, salt, green chillies, red chilli powder, coriander powder and aamchoor powder. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Then, garnish with coriander leaves.
Prepare Poori: In a bowl, add atta, sooji, salt, oil and water. Mix well and knead a soft dough.
Take a small portion of the dough and roll it out. Next, fry it till golden brown.
Serve the poori along with the halwa and chana. Happy Ashtami!
