Tip 1

The stuffing should be dry or the roll may come apart later. Add some breadcrumbs to the filling to soak up excess moisture.

Tip 2

Cut the edges of bread slices and dip them in milk (or a mixture of water & milk) before adding the stuffing. This will make it easier to shape and seal the roll.

Tip 3

Avoid overstuffing the bread with the prepared filling. If you add too much, you will face problems later. Keep the size of the bread slice in mind.

Tip 4

Sealing is the most crucial part. Gently press the opposite edges of the slices together and form a cylinder-like shape. Check for gaps in the coating before frying.

Tip 5

Wait for the oil to become moderately hot before popping the rolls in. Add them too early and they may absorb extra oil. Add them too late and they may burn.
