Chaat masala is a spicy masala blend that adds tanginess to dishes. If you a fan of chaat masala, then try making it at home! Follow this simple recipe for an authentic taste.

1 cup dhaniya seeds
1 ¼ cup jeera
½ cup ajwain
½ cup amchur
1 ½ tbsp garam masala
1 ¼ cups black salt
4 tsp black pepper
½ tsp hing
½ cup dried mint leaves.

Dry roast dhaniya seeds, jeera, and ajwain seeds on low heat until they become aromatic. Let them cool down completely and set aside.

Grind the roasted spices into a fine powder. Pulse once and then repeat the process until you get a powder. This will be the base of your chaat masala.

In a large bowl, combine the ground spices with amchur, garam masala, black salt, black pepper, hing, and dried mint leaves. Mix well.

Transfer the chaat masala to an airtight container. Keep it away from direct sunlight and store it in a dry place. Enjoy this with snacks and fruits!
