Struggling to set curd during chilly winters? These simple tips will help you achieve thick, creamy curd even when the temperature drops! Here's how to do it.

Heat the milk slightly more than you do in summer. Ensure it doesn't boil. The milk should be a bit warmer than lukewarm.

Use fresh, active curd as your starter. Add 1-2 tablespoons of curd to the warm milk and mix well. This helps the starter spread evenly.

After mixing the starter, pour the milk into a casserole. The insulated container retains heat, encouraging bacterial growth.

Place the container in a warm spot, like a turned-off microwave. You can also wrap it in a thick cloth before placing it inside.

Let the curd set for 8-10 hours. Avoid disturbing it during this time, and you'll have fresh, homemade curd with ease!
