½ cup Milk

½ cup Castor Sugar

¼ cup Butter

80 g Dark Chocolate, melted

½ cup Maida


A pinch of Baking Soda

A pinch of Salt

¼ tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Vanilla Essence

Take melted chocolate and butter in a bowl. Mix it well.

Step 1

Add milk and whisk thoroughly till it combines together.

Step 2

Next, sift all the dry ingredients- maida, castor sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda to the mixture.

Step 3

Add vanilla essence and mix all the ingredients together. Keep this in the fridge for 5-7 minutes to chill.

Step 4

Pour the batter in a greased ramekin. Then, bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes.

Step 5

Serve the choco lava cake warm. You can even add some vanilla ice cream on top!
