Indo-Chinese food is always a hit, and there are plenty of veg and non-veg options to pick from. Honey chilli chicken is one of the most loved dishes.

Crispy chicken chunks are tossed in soy sauce and vinegar with a bit of honey that gives it a sweet-spicy kick. This recipe is a great pick for dinner parties. Try it at home.

350 gms Boneless Chicken
1/2 cup Cornflour
1/2 cup Garlic Paste
1/2 cup Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Salt
2 cups Sliced Onion
2 tsp Green Chillies
1 tbsp Soya Sauce
2 tbsp Vinegar
1 tbsp Ketchup

Start by coating the chicken pieces with maida and basic spices. Then dip them in a cornflour slurry and fry until they are golden and crispy.

Heat a pan and add ginger garlic paste, onions, and capsicum. Let them cook for a bit to release all the flavour.

Next, pour in soy sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, and a spoonful of honey. This gives the sauce that sweet and tangy flavour.

Stir everything well. Add the fried chicken pieces and toss so that they soak up all that saucy goodness.

Let it simmer on low to medium heat for about five minutes. Once done, your easy chicken starter is ready to serve.
