1/2 cup Rice

1/2 cup Palak Puree

1/2 cup Moong Dal

1 Onion

1 Tomato

Salt as per taste

1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds

1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

1 tsp Coriander Powder

1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder

1 Green Chilli

1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds

Cook soaked rice and moong dal along with turmeric powder and some water in a pressure cooker up till 5 whistles.

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, and let them crackle.

Step 2

Add onion and ginger-garlic paste. Mix and saute well.

Step 3

Add green chilli, tomato, palak puree, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Add cooked rice-dal mixture and some water. Combine everything and simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Serve hot!
