RASMALAI RECIPE

 FOR
 DIWALI DESSERT

EASY 

Dry fruits - 1 tsp

 Cardamom powder - A pinch 

 Sugar - Half cup

Milk - 1.5 litre

Vinegar - 1 tsp

Saffron-infused milk - 1 tbsp 

Corn flour - 1 tsp 

Boil the milk, add some cold water and let it cool down.

Step 1

How To Make Rasmalai 

Add vinegar to curdle milk. Strain the whey water and keep the chhena formed.

Step 2

Take the chhena in a bowl, add cornflour to it and mix. 

Step 3

Make small roundels and keep aside. 

Step 4

Add sugar and water in a pan and boil. 

Step 5

Add the chhena roundels to the sugar syrup and cook for 10 minutes. 

Step 6

Heat some more milk and add saffron-infused milk, cardamom powder, dry fruits, and mix. Add sugar and boil till it reduces to half the quantity.

Step 7

Dip the cooked chhena roundels in the milk and let it cool for 4 to 5 hours.
