A chopping board is one of the most essential tools in the kitchen. However, cleaning wooden boards can be a tedious task. Here are some tips to help you clean it with ease.

Lemon and salt work like magic to clean a wooden chopping board. Sprinkle some salt over it and and rub it with a lemon for a minute or two.

After using your chopping board, rinse it with water and apply liquid soap. Then, gently scrub it with a sponge to remove any food residue.

A wooden chopping board tends to become dry after extensive use. You can restore its moisture by applying oil and leaving it overnight.

Vinegar contains acetic acid, which makes it great for cleaning. Dilute it with water, trasnfer it to a bottle, and spray it all over the chopping board.

You can also clean your chopping board with bleach. Mix it with water and apply some oil to the board after cleaning to restore moisture.
