Smooth and delicious, chocolate mousse is a dessert that is loved by many. Its creamy texture and rich flavour make it perfect to satisfy sweet tooth. Here's how to make it at home:

To make chocolate mousse, you need 200g dark chocolate, 2 cups of heavy cream, 2 tbsp sugar, 3 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

1. Melt The Chocolate

Take dark chocolate and melt it in a microwave. After every 10 seconds, stir a bit to ensure it melts evenly. Once it does, set aside to let it cool.

2. Whip The Cream

In a large bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream with 2 tbsp of sugar until it's dissolved and becomes soft. Make sure not to overwhip the cream.

3. Beat The Eggs

Take 3 eggs and separate whites and yolk. Beat the egg whites until it forms stiff peaks. In another bowl, whisk the yolks with 1 tsp of vanilla extract.

4. Combine

Gently combine melted chocolate with egg yolk mixture. Then add the heavy cream and egg white to the mix. Mix until just combined.

5. Chill And Serve

Transfer the chocolate mousse to serving bowls. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. Garnish with chocolate shavings and serve!
