½ cup Chana Dal, soaked

½ cup Urad Dal, soaked

½ tsp Red Chilli Flakes

1 tsp Ghee

1 Onion

1 Tomato



Salt as per taste

½ tsp Black Pepper Powder

1 Green Chilli

½ tsp Garam Masala Powder

1 tsp Ginger

1 tsp Garlic

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add onion and tomato. Saute till brown.

Step 1

Add chana dal, urad dal and some salt. Mix well.

Step 2

Add water, close the lid and cook till 4-5 whistles. Let the mixture cook, and grind it.

Step 3

Heat ghee in a pan. Add ginger and garlic, and saute. Add the dal paste and mix well.

Step 4

Add black pepper powder, green chilli and salt. Add water and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add garam masala in the end.

Step 5

Garnish with red chilli flakes and serve hot.
