Holi 2025 is almost here and many of us are planning our festive menus. Along with sweet treats, specific savoury delights are also enjoyed during this festival.

One of them is dahi papdi chaat. It is a classic crowd-pleaser and you must make it for your Holi party. Here's a quick and easy recipe:

10-12 papdi
½ cup dahi
1 boiled potato
1 tbsp boiled chickpeas
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp chopped tomato
1 tbsp masala boondi
1 tbsp sev
1 tsp chopped coriander leaves

1 tsp pomegranate seeds
2 tbsp sweet/imli chutney
2 tbsp coriander/ hari chutney
1 tsp chaat masala
¼ tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp cumin powder
¼ tsp black salt

Churn the dahi with black salt and chill in the fridge for around 5-10 minutes. Keep other ingredients ready in the meantime.

Cover the surface of a large plate with the papdi pieces. Mash the boiled potato roughly and add it on top.

Spread the channa over the potatoes, followed by the finely chopped onion and tomato. Sprinkle the chilli powder and cumin powder on top.

Drizzle the green (spicy) chutney and the sweet chutney on top of these ingredients. Next, add the chilled dahi and top it with chaat masala.
Garnish with masala boondi, sev, chopped coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds. Your dahi papdi chaat is ready. Serve it immediately.
