Stainless steel utensils are strong durable, and non-reactive. But they are not beginner friendly so cooking in them can be tricky. Here are 5 tips to keep in mind while using them:

1. Preheat Properly

Always preheat your stainless steel pan on medium heat for a few minutes before adding food. This will prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.

2. Use Enough Oil

To prevent food from sticking, use ample oil to spread at the bottom of the pan. Heat the oil until it starts to shimmer before adding other items.

3. Don't Overcrowd

While using stainless steel, make sure to give each food piece enough space. Overcrowding the pan will prevent even cooking and proper browning of food.

4. Be Patient

Don't try to flip or stir food too soon. Allow it to form a natural crust on its own. Be patient while cooking or the food will end up sticking on the surface.

5. Clean Gently

Use a gentle scrubber and a non-abrasive cleaner to clean your utensils. Avoid using steel wool as it can cause scratches and reduce its shelf life.
