1. Keep It Clean

Clean your kitchen regularly, wipe slabs, sweep floors, and wash dishes after using them. This will keep cockroaches at bay as they are attracted to dirt.

2. Seal Cracks

Check your kitchen for cracks and holes in walls, cabinets and floors. Use a sealant to close these gaps to prevent cockroaches from entering and nesting.

3. Store Food Properly

Keep food in airtight containers and don't leave it out overnight. Proper storage will reduce cockroach access to food and keep them at bay.

4. Fix Leaks

Cockroaches need water to survive. Inspect and fix any leaky pipes and drains to cut off their water supply to make your kitchen pest-free.

5. Use Natural Repellents

Place bay leaves and garlic in the areas where cockroaches are likely to enter. These natural repellents have odours that cockroaches avoid.

6. Dispose Garbage

Don't let trash sit in your kitchen for too long and use a bin with a tight-fitting lid. This will prevent cockroaches from finding food in your garbage.
