Paneer tikka is an all-time favourite party snack. Take a break from the regular and try this more flavour-packed Amritsari version for your next get-together.

To do this, add besan, red chilli powder, haldi, garam masala, ajwain, lemon juice, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and water to a large bowl.

Mix the batter well and add the paneer cubes, ensuring they are evenly coated on all sides with the prepared marinade.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set it aside for 30 minutes at room temperature. This will allow the flavours to be fully absorbed.

Heat oil in a pan and place the marinated paneer cubes in it. Shallow-fry them until they turn golden brown in colour.

Once done, transfer the paneer cubes to a plate lined with kitchen paper. Sprinkle chaat masala on top and serve with mint chutney.
