How To Make Crispy Potato Chips At Home

Move over packaged chips and say hello to these yummy and crispy homemade potato chips the next time you feel like snacking.

Step 1

Slice 500 gm potatoes using a slicer to ensure the slices are very thin and even.

Step 2

Heat water in a large container and add 1 tbsp salt. When the water comes to a boil, add the potatoes.

When it comes to a boil again, drain out the water. Dry the potatoes in the sun till they turn crisp.

Store in airtight containers and you can fry the chips whenever you want to eat them.

For frying, heat oil in a deep kadhai (wok) and fry potato slices in small batches. Fry until golden and drain on paper towels. Enjoy!
