1 Onion
5 Tomatoes
½ cup Penne Pasta
1 Bay Leaf
Salt as per taste
5 Basil Leaves
½ tsp Sugar
½ tsp Garlic
Heat water in a pan and add salt. Let it simmer and add penne pasta to it. Mix and let it boil for 10-12 minutes.
Heat oil in a wok, add tomatoes, garlic, onion and bay leaf to it.
Mix well until the onions turn brown. and then add salt, sugar and water.
After mixing, cover the wok and let it cook until the tomatoes are soft. Post that, grind the mix to make a paste.
Next, heat oil in another wok, add chopped onions and garlic. Saute well until brown.
Add the freshly-made tomato paste to the wok. Cook till it reduces to half.
When it starts to simmer, add basil leaves and mix well. Then add the boiled pasta.
Mix pasta and sauce. Serve hot.
