1/2 cup water, 2 stalks of coriander leaves, 2 pinches of powdered black pepper, 4 tbsp refined oil, 3 onions, chopped, 1/2 cup beaten curd

Start with heating the oil in a handi on medium flame. Toss in the chopped onions, stir-fry them until golden brown, and then bring the flame down to low.

Next, add the grated ginger, turmeric, chilli powder, and garam masala. Stir everything together to let those spices wake up.

Add in the finely chopped tomato and green chilli. Let this cook on low flame for about 10 minutes until it's all melded together.

Pour in the beaten curd and cook until the mix looks dry. Season with salt, then add the water and bring it to a gentle boil.

Now, add the paneer and chopped coriander. Let it cook until the masala thickens and clings to the paneer.

Sprinkle some black pepper, take it off the heat, and serve hot. Garnish with fresh coriander for that final touch.
