How To Make Schezwan Noodles In 15 Minutes

Noodles are the ultimate comfort food, aren't they? If you're craving something spicy, this quick and easy Schezwan noodles has you covered. You'll have a plate of flavour-packed noodles ready in just 15 mins.

Ingredients:

1 packet Hakka noodles, 2-3 tbsp Schezwan sauce, ½ cup spring onion,  2 tbsp spring onion leaves, chopped, ½ cup grated carrot, ½ cup grated cabbage,

Ingredients:

½ cup capsicum, finely chopped, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, Salt and black pepper (to taste), 1 tsp vinegar, ½ tbsp soy sauce

1. Boil the Noodles

Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add some salt and 1 tsp oil, then toss in the noodles. Let them cook until they're soft but still firm.

2. Sauté the Aromatics

While the noodles are cooking, heat some oil in a pan. Toss in the chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté until the onions turn translucent, filling your kitchen with an irresistible aroma.

3. Add the Schezwan Sauce

Stir in the Schezwan sauce and let it cook for about a minute. This is where the magic begins-prepare for some serious flavour.

4. Add the Veggies

Throw in the grated carrots, cabbage, and capsicum. Season lightly with salt and pepper, but don't overdo it-remember, the Schezwan sauce is already packed with flavour.

5. Prep the Noodles

By now, your noodles should be cooked. Drain them and rinse under cold water to stop them from sticking. Spread them out in a strainer and drizzle a little oil on top.

6. Cook the Veggies

Sauté the veggies until they're cooked but still crunchy. Nobody likes mushy vegetables in their noodles, right?

7. Mix It All Together

Add the noodles to the pan with the veggies. Pour in the soy sauce and vinegar, and give everything a good mix. Turn off the heat, garnish with spring onion greens, and serve piping hot.
