Love strawberry jam? Make it at home with just three ingredients and no preservatives! Pair it with toast, pancakes, or dessert, and you're sorted. Here's how to make it.

500 g fresh strawberries
300 g sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice

Rinse strawberries and chop them into small pieces. Mash lightly and mix with sugar and lemon juice. Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.

Heat the mixture over medium flame. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves. Let it cook on simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring quickly.

Place a small amount of jam on a cold plate. If it wrinkles when pushed with a spoon, it's ready. This will ensure your jam is thickened properly.

Let the jam cool completely. Transfer it to sterilised jars and store it in the refrigerator. Voila, it's done! Enjoy it with your breakfast or desserts.
