How To Make Sugarcane Juice Using Jaggery

It's not easy to make sugarcane juice at home, but with jaggery, you can recreate the flavour in minutes! Here's how to make this refreshing drink using simple ingredients.

Ingredients:

5 tbsp chopped jaggery
10 pudina (mint) leaves
3 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp ginger juice
½ tsp kala namak (black salt)
Lots of ice

1. Make Jaggery Base

Add chopped jaggery to a bowl with ¼ cup warm water. Stir well until the jaggery dissolves completely to create a natural sweetener base.

2. Add Flavours

To the jaggery water, add pudina leaves, ginger juice, lemon juice, and kala namak. Mix everything so that the flavours blend together.

3. Strain The Mixture

Take a fine sieve and strain the mixture to remove any solids. This will give you a smooth and clean consistency of your sugarcane juice.

4. Serve Chilled

Pour the strained juice into a glass filled with lots of ice. Stir once more and enjoy your homemade sugarcane juice using jaggery in minutes!
