How To Make Tandoori Roti At Home

Prepare The Dough

In the flour, add salt, yoghurt and knead it. Pour water and keep kneading. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 2 hours.

Roll The Rotis

Take medium-sized pieces from the dough to form dough balls. Flatten the dough ball with a rolling pin. Do not make the roti too thin.

Use Water

Now, apply some water on the sides of the roti with the help of your hands. This will help the roti stick to the sides of the cooker.

Stick The Roti

Preheat the pressure cooker and ensure it's hot. Stick the roti inside the walls of the pressure cooker. Let it heat for 5 minutes.

Flip And Cook

Quickly flip the pressure cooker, keeping the open side towards the stove flame. Cook the roti in the flame for 2-3 minutes.

Once the roti is cooked, take it out of the cooker. Apply ghee and serve hot. With this hack, you can cook 2-3 rotis together in the cooker.
