Kerala-Style chicken curry is a lip-smacking dish, perfect for dinner parties. Chicken pieces are sautéed and cooked with a host of flavourful spices and curry leaves. Check out the recipe here:

1 kg Chicken
5 tsp Chicken Masala
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
2 Green Chillies, chopped
1 cup Onion, sliced
2 Tomatoes, sliced
1 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp Pepper powder
2 stalks Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt – as required

Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add the sliced onion and a pinch of salt, and sauté well until translucent.

Add the chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste, and sauté for 2 minutes. Stir in the Kashmiri chilli powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder.

Add the chicken masala and sauté for one minute. Then, add the sliced tomatoes and cook for another minute.

Add the chicken pieces and mix everything well. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes.

Pour in 2 cups of water and cook until the chicken is tender. Then, add the pepper powder and mix thoroughly.

Sprinkle curry leaves and coriander leaves over the top of the gravy. Cook for 2 more minutes. Serve this chicken curry with your favorite bread or rice for a wholesome meal.
