Methi & Moong

This cheela recipe combines sprouted moong dal with spices, herbs, methi leaves and besan to make a wholesome protein-rich breakfast. 


2 Green Chillies 

? tbsp Besan 

? cup Moong Sprouts

? cup Methi Leaves

? tsp Salt 

A pinch of Hing

2 tsp Cumin Seeds 


Step 1

Combine sprouted moong, green chillies, cumin seeds and hing with some water and grind to make a fine paste. 

Step 2

Now add methi leaves, besan and salt, and mix to make a smooth batter. 

Step 3

Heat a non-stick tawa and spread a tsp of oil. 

Step 4

Pour one portion of the batter on it, spread it evenly. 

Step 5

Cook till both sides turn golden brown. Serve hot.
