Missi roti is a flavourful flatbread from Punjab, cherished for its earthy taste. Pair it with dals and pickles, and you're all set! Here's how you can whip it up at home.

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup besan
1 tsp ajwain
1-2 green chillies, chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
A pinch of thing
1 tsp salt
Oil

Mix wheat flour, besan, ajwain, green chillies, onion, hing, salt, and oil in a bowl. Gradually add water to make a soft dough.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. This ensures smooth dough and softer rotis.

Divide the dough into equal portions. Shape into small balls and roll each flat into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
