Mother's Day is around the corner and preparations are in full swing to make it special for mothers. We got some classic Indian dishes to cook for a special lunch this Sunday.

1. Butter Chicken 

Marinated overnight, the chicken is roasted and cooked in tomato puree, cream, butter and many masalas. Relish it with roti, paratha or rice.

Urad dal with the flavors of butter, kasoori methi, chillies and tomatoes, make dal makhani a creamy and sumptuous main course.

3. Paneer Do Pyaza

It is prepared by using paneer chunks dipped in a luscious and spicy gravy, made with tomato puree, onion paste and a host of masalas.

4. Dahi Vada

Vada, made of dhuli urad dal, deep fried, and served with yogurt, chutney and chaat masala, the dish defines bliss in every bite.

5. Dhokla
