Paneer Veg Toast Recipe For Quick Breakfast

This masala paneer toast is perfect for a quick breakfast or evening snack. Paneer is cooked with basic veggies & spices, then spread over bread slices & toasted in a pan or oven.

Ingredients:

4 bread slices
100 grams paneer
1 green capsicum
1 tomato
1 onion
1/2 tsp haldi (turmeric powder)

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp coriander leaves
1 tbsp oil or butter
1 tbsp butter (for toasting)
Salt to taste

Step 1: 

Finely chop the tomato, onion, capsicum and paneer. Keep them ready.

Step 2: 

In a small kadhai or pan, heat the oil or butter and add the onion. After a minute, add the haldi and chilli powder.

Step 3: 

Saute the ingredients, then add the tomato and half a teaspoon of salt.

Step 4: 

Add the capsicum, paneer, and pepper. Saute for another minute or so, then turn off the heat.

Step 5: 

Butter both sides of the bread slices. Lightly toast them on one side.

Step 6: 

Flip them over and spread the paneer mixture evenly. Sprinkle with chilli flakes and coriander leaves.

Step 7: 

Cover and cook on a low flame for 2 minutes. Serve hot with ketchup and/or green chutney.
