Moong dal (soaked) – 1 cup
Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder (roasted) – 3 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 3 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp

1.Boil 4 cups of water and add the soaked moong dal.
2. Let it cook for about 5 minutes until foam forms on the top.
3. Skim off the foam, add salt and asafoetida, and stir well. Cover and cook until the dal softens.

4. Let the dal cool down completely.
5. Once cooled, add jeera powder, lemon juice, chaat masala, and chilli powder. Mix well and serve.
