DUM ALOO RECIPE

Ingredients

Salt, as per taste

1/4 cup Curd

Half cup Onion, chopped 

1/4 cup Tomato Puree

4 Boiled Potatoes

2 tbsp Cashew Nut Paste

1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

1 tsp Coriander Powder

Half tsp Garam Masala

2 tsp Red Chilli Powder

Half tsp Turmeric Powder

3 Cardamoms

3 Cloves

1 Cinnamon Stick

4 Black Peppercorns

Step 1

Fry the boiled potatoes till they turn golden brown in colour.

Step 2

Reduce the oil and add cloves, cinnamon stick, black peppercoorns and cardamom. 

Step 3

Add onion and ginger-garlic paste to it and saute well.

Step 4

Add tomato puree, curd and cook everything together.

Step 5

Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt. Cook everything for 2 minutes.

Step 6

Add the cashew nut paste, potatoes, and mix well. Add some water and let it boil.

Step 7

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice or roti.
