No plate of momos is complete without a flavourful chutney. This quick and delicious recipe will take your momo experience to the next level.

2 tomatoes, 3-4 dried red chillies, 3 garlic cloves, 1 tsp sesame seeds, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp lemon juice.

Heat oil in a pan and roast the dried red chillies until fragrant.

In the same pan, add tomatoes and cook until charred. Then, boil them with some water for 5 minutes until soft.
Peel the tomatoes and blend them with roasted chillies, garlic and sesame seeds until smooth.
Heat a little oil in a pan, pour the blended mixture, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and lemon juice for a tangy kick.
Let the chutney cool and serve it with steaming hot momos!
