TUKDA RECIPE

Ingredients

1 tsp Saffron 

1 cup Sugar 

1 cup Water 

A pinch of Cardamom Powder 

2 cups Condensed Milk 

3 cups Milk

Ingredients

3 slices Bread 

1 cup Ghee 

1 tsp Cashews

1 tsp Almonds 

1 tsp Pistachios 

1 tsp Cardamom Powder 

Step 1

Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan. Add condensed milk. 

Step 2

Add a pinch of cardamom powder. Boil till the milk thickens. 

Step 3

In a pan, add a cup of water and sugar. Boil it till the sugar dissolves. 

Step 4

Add saffron, cardamom powder, pistachios, almonds and cashews. 

Step 5

In a pan, heat ghee. Deep fry bread slices till they turn brown. 

Step 6

Immerse bread slices in sugar syrup for 10-15 minutes. 

Step 7

Arrange bread slices in a serving plate. Pour rabri over bread slices.  Garnish with nuts.
