Ingredients

1 cup gram flour
 1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
 Cardamom powder
Ghee
A few strands of saffron
 Food colour (optional)
Nuts

1. Prepare the Batter

In a bowl, combine gram flour with water to form a smooth batter. Ensure there are no lumps for perfect motichoor.

2. Fry the Boondi

Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Pour the batter through a sieve and fry until golden brown, creating small round boondis. Drain on paper.

3. Make Sugar Syrup

In a separate pan, boil sugar and water until it reaches a one-string consistency, then add cardamom powder for flavour.

4. Mix Boondi and Syrup

Add the fried boondi to the sugar syrup. Stir gently to coat each piece evenly. Let it sit for a few minutes.

5. Shape the Ladoos

Grease your palms with ghee. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into tight, round ladoos. You can garnish with nuts.
