BUTTER CHICKEN
KHICHDI RECIPE

Ingredients

250 gm Boneless Chicken

½ cup Rice, soaked

2 tbsp Cream

½ cup Curd

1 Onion

½ cup Tomato Puree

Ingredients

Salt to taste

1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

¼ tsp Butter

1 tsp Kasoori Methi

1 Bay Leaf

2 tbsp Butter

Ingredients

1 Cinnamon Stick

1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

2 Cardamoms

2 Cloves 

½ tsp Garam Masala

¼ tsp Turmeric Powder

Marinate chicken with curd, ginger-garlic paste, salt and red chilli powder for 30 minutes.

Step 1

In a pressure cooker, add butter, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamoms and cloves.

Step 2

Now, add onion and ginger-garlic paste.

Step 3

Add tomato puree, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and sugar. Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Add marinated chicken and cook for 5 minutes. Then, add rice and water. Cook upto 3 whistles.

Step 5

Add cream, garam masala and kasoori methi. Serve hot.
