Indo-Chinese cuisine offers endless options. Here's a crispy, yummy vegetable salt and pepper snack - a perfect mix of vegetables tossed in light Chinese flavours.

2 green and red capsicums, chopped, 1 cup cauliflower, 1/4 cup baby corn, 1/2 cup mushrooms, 1/2 cup carrot, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tbsp black pepper

1 tsp salt, 1/4 cup maida, 1/4 cup cornflour, Water as needed, Oil for deep frying

Boil the vegetables until soft. Meanwhile, prepare the batter.

Mix cornflour, maida, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and pepper. Add water gradually until you get a smooth, pouring consistency.

Dip the boiled vegetables in batter, then deep-fry them until crispy.

Heat oil in a separate pan and prepare the sauce.

Add soy sauce, vinegar, and green chilli sauce to taste. Toss in fried veggies, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve hot!
