½ cup Bajra, soaked
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
¼ cup Moong Dal
½ tsp Coriander Powder
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
½ tsp Garam Masala
½ tsp Cumin Seeds
Add bajra, dhuli moong dal and salt in a pressure cooker.
Add water and cook upto 4 whistles.
In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
Add garam masala and turmeric powder. Mix well.
Add the tadka to the cooked bajra and moong dal mix. Let it simmer until everything is mixed.
Serve the Bajra khichdi hot with accompaniments of choice.
