Dahi Bhalla is one of those classic street food staples that always hits the spot, thanks to its creamy yoghurt, zesty mint, and sweet-tangy tamarind chutney.

But guess what? You don't need to spend hours making dahi bhalla! With this hack, you can turn leftover bread into a plate of drool-worthy Dahi Bhalla in no time. Here's the breakdown:

6 leftover bread slices, 1 cup curd, 1/2 cup cashews and raisins, powdered sugar, Green chutney, Tamarind chutney, Red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, Chaat masala, Pomegranate seeds

Start by grabbing your bread slices & trimming off the edges. Quickly dip each slice in water & gently squeeze out the extra water - don't overdo it, or the bread might fall apart.

Take a slice and place a few chopped cashews and raisins in the centre. Fold the bread around the filling and shape it into a round bhalla.

Repeat this with the rest of the bread slices and neatly arrange your bhallas on a serving plate.

In a bowl, mix curd with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Pour this yoghurt mixture over your bread bhallas generously.

Now comes the fun part - load it up with green chutney, tamarind chutney, a sprinkle of red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, and chaat masala.

For the final touch, garnish with pomegranate seeds, a handful of sev, and some fresh coriander leaves.
