Mushrooms can be baked and used in curries. However, the main problem that many of us face is how to clean them. Here are some tips on how to clean mushrooms effectively.

Rinse the mushrooms under cold water and chop them into small pieces. Clean them again, as small pieces are easier to clean and cook. Boil them after cleaning.
Another effective way to clean mushrooms is to remove the dirt with a cloth or tissue paper. Rub it thoroughly, then rinse and cook!

Sometimes, there may be spots and moulds on the mushrooms that cannot be removed with cleaning. Cut out that portion before cooking.
Put the mushrooms in a bowl & cover them with flour. Rub the dirt out with your hands. Transfer to another bowl & add some water. Rub them to clean and rinse!

First, wash the mushrooms, and with a knife, peel off the skin from the top of the mushroom head. Remove the stem of the fungus if you don't like it.
